Priya Desphande is an educational therapist with almost 40 years of experience. She holds a MS in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Institute of Psychotherapy and Counselling, a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling from St. Xavier’s Education Centre. She has also completed a Certificate Course in Dyslexia (UK).
As a Special Needs Remedial Teacher, she has had the privilege of working with several institutions. She is a founding member of CHILDReach Organisation, which is dedicated to helping slow learners and children with learning disabilities. She has also been a part of Path Counselling Centre since 2000 and have designed and am presently coordinating a Certificate Course in Learning Disability at S.N.D.T. University, Churchgate. She teaches underprivileged students through CMCA, the Children’s Movement for Civic Awareness, and offers counselling and remedial education to students of STD I to VII, with particular emphasis on Math.
